Sooo...do the 'fates' just a warped sense of humor ? We're not sure if we should 'laugh or cry' ??? but we just got a call from NEWLANDS basically saying.. OOPS.. Apparently they forgot that they have a buffet every Sunday that fills their parking lot??? ...but we appreciate that they tried ! So this is us looking for a NEW spot again YES AGAIN with a month and a half time to find something !! And before the suggestions start pouring in we need somewhere that holds at least 200+ people and that means the parking lot needs to hold at least 150 cars....and that's the dilemma...So spread the word to keep an eye and ear out for whatever the "fates' bring us next ...

Well, it would seem that yet once again..the 'charity event fates' are working against us !
Kwantlen University has decided it will NO longer host indoor events due to layoffs ! And this info came to us quite recent !
Which means WE are back on search for a new location ..We would like to keep the event in the Langley area ,but it is increasingly difficult . It is confusing to us that there is so many 'venues' that will hold 200+ people ..yet only have a small parking lot ???
We are on the rampage looking at venues and will let you know as soon as we know !

2026 update!!! It is our 43rd year!

Well...apparently not all the 'fates' are against us !! Newlands Golf course Bar &Grill have come to our rescue !! (Thanx Vivian) It will be a tight fit and theres A FLIGHT OF STAIRS to get up there ! But we have our fingers crossed that it will work out ! They have offered to have the Food/Drink open for biz as well We are still trying to plan a start point for a "Kruise Route" to Newlands...stay tuned for updates on that . Otherwise....were a happening deal !! And a HUGE thanx to Gary at Newlands and his people for saving us !! NOVEMBER 1st !! if we get a "route" figured ...we will meet up at 8am..leaving at 10am for Newlands Bar&Grill . plz do not go there before 10am !!
Hopefully you can make it with your "cool car" ..
If not... just BE THERE!!c
So...jump in your car and participate in Canada's oldest automotive charity event!

The Greater Vancouver Car Club Council invites one and all to attend the annual KRUISE FOR KIDS !! Decorate your car, decorate yourself !!
There will be T-shirts for the first 150 entrants. K4K decals while they last.
Trophies for Best Decorated Vehicle ,and Best Club Turnout !!
ALL we ask of you... is to donate ONE brand new toy (unwrapped) per entrant (plz no stuffies) ....and we always encourage all Car Clubs and individuals to make cash or cheque donations !!
Please make all Cheque donations payable to the
"Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau"
All toys and donations go directly to The Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau for distribution to children in the Greater Vancouver-Fraser Valley area.
