Soooooo...remember when we did "drive thru" events during 'covid'.?..Well guess what??? We are officially at that point again ...not because of covid though ! LOL We are sooo behind the 8 ball this year due to all the hooplah hitting the fans...and being able to secure a location ,that we considered cancelling it ...then we received an offer from the Boys at Jellybean Autocrafters (avid supporters of the event for decades)!! Offering up their facility and parking lot to hold a "DRIVE THRU" event !!! They are going to let US takeover one of the shops bays, for US to sit in and do 'registration', receive 'donations', and distribute the event shirts and such . ( We can probably talk them into allowing 'shop tours' as well ) So...for the people that weren't supporters during Covid times...what this means is...NOVEMBER 1st ."START TIME" wil be 10am and "FINISH TIME" will be 1pm ..and you will be able to just drive there and drop off your TOY/CASH/CHEQUE Donation and leave or hangout (bring your own chair) between 10am and 1pm !

There will still be THEE Coveted K4K Tool Box ) and maybe some other 'doorprizes' that will be distributed at a later point (still figuring that out) . And the GRAND TOTALS$$ and Trophies for Best Club turnout , Best Decorated vehicle, Best dressed driver and crew !! Winners will be contacted and announced on the WEB as well !!

Most Important thing is that "WE HAVE THE EVENT" in whatever form it takes ! Yes we still get to boast that we are the "longest continuously" running automotive charity event but it's always been more important that the 'Specialty Vehicles' of the Lower Mainland support the 'Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau' !!

So...don't be a Grinch...donate !! Decorate your car or yourself !

Sooo...do the 'fates' just a warped sense of humor ? We're not sure if we should 'laugh or cry' ??? but we just got a call from NEWLANDS basically saying.. OOPS.. Apparently they forgot that they have a buffet every Sunday that fills their parking lot??? ...but we appreciate that they tried !  So this is us looking for a NEW spot again YES AGAIN with a month and a half time to find something !! And before the suggestions start pouring in we need somewhere that holds at least 200+ people and that means the parking lot needs to hold at least 150 cars....and that's the dilemma...So spread the word to keep an eye and ear out for whatever the "fates' bring us next ...

Well, it would seem that yet once again..the 'charity event fates' are working against us !
Kwantlen University has decided it will NO longer host indoor events due to layoffs ! And this info came to us quite recent !
Which means WE are back on search for a new location ..We would like to keep the event in the Langley area ,but it is increasingly difficult . It is confusing to us that there is so many 'venues' that will hold 200+ people ..yet only have a small parking lot ???
We are on the rampage looking at venues and will let you know as soon as we know !
